What do you think about LIFE?

What do you think about life?
Do you think it's short... or long?
For me, I would say "Life is short!'

Weeks ago, my dearest grandpa had passed away.
He was a good man, but he still can't manage to watch me married, have children, and to be successful in life.
He hanged around in my life for 20 years only.
I appreciated every moment that I had with him.

I think life is short!
That's why I really feel that it is a precious gift for me when a person willing to spend time in my life, and they don't need to do that, because there is probably something out there that is much worth time spending with than me.
But, they chose to spend their life with me.
I really appreciate my family and friends who are willing to sacrifice their precious time with me.
Thank you very much!

Recently, I'm reading a book called Enchantment by Guy Kawasaki.
One of the chapters talked about 'Accepting others'.

Do you notice that most of the people are similar?
For example,
to get married, have children, financially stable, enjoy life and so on.
And he mentioned that this is true no matter what your race, culture, creed, color, and country.
Therefore, if you observe, you would find that you are a lot similar with the people whom you hate! haha!

Here's one of his great quotes,
"Don't judge people until you've walked a kilometer in their shoes." - Guy Kawasaki
He emphasized that, in life, not everyone has the priority to do things he/she likes.

One of my real life examples is my parents.
My parents don't need to work so hard to earn money if not because of they have 3 children to raise.
Frankly speaking, the three children (including me) are STEPPING on their dreams.
If not because of the 3 children, they can do things they like to do.
For instance,
their savings probably spent on traveling around the world instead of spending on their children expenses!
It's not an easy thing to raise children.
However, they manage to do it.
They are awesome! I feel so grateful and I love them!

After reading that chapter of 'Accepting others',
I'm learning to accept people and doing my best to accept without judgement!
I not sure about other people, but I personally feel that it's not easy to accept without any judgement,
probably because of experiences I had and culture that shaped me!
I'm working on it anyways. =)
Peace~ ^.^ V

Thanks for your precious time for reading this!
